Welcome to OMC Chess Club

Our Mother of Consolation School Chess Club is a welcoming place for students to learn chess, solve puzzles, practice sportsmanship, and grow in confidence, patience, and thoughtful play.

Rooted in the life of Our Mother of Consolation School in Chestnut Hill, our club encourages students to think carefully, act kindly, and support one another as they learn. We hope students grow not only in skill, but also in humility, grace, and joyful community.

What We Do

In chess club, students build skills through mini-lessons, puzzles, practice games, and friendly competition. We welcome a range of players, from beginners learning the rules to more experienced students growing in strategy, confidence, and leadership.
